BraveMinds is multi-day experience of powerful leadership development — the kind most people don’t get until college. Built for students who want to make an impact and lead their peers.
You notice things that could be better in your school or community, and you want to help improve them.
You want to be someone your peers can trust — because of who you are and how you show up.
You care about the people around you and want to know how to be there for them when it counts the most.
You’re ready to be challenged, have honest conversations, have fun, become more confident, and grow in ways that last beyond the week.
You want to spend four days with other people who are as passionate about making a difference as you are.
You don't have it all figured out — but you're ready to start trying things on to see what works for you as a leader.
Every day is built on a different theme - the same ones used with CEOs and top executives, designed specifically for you. Expect to be challenged, to connect with people who get it, to have fun, and to leave with skills you’ll use for the rest of your life.
You can’t lead others until you understand yourself. Day 1 goes deep: exploring your values, your strengths, how you show up under pressure, and what motivates you. Using our Human Core model developed by idealis., you’ll build the kind of self-awareness needed to lead from within.
Brave leadership is about bringing people along with you. Day 2 focuses on how to build trust with others through listening, having hard conversations, disagreeing without losing relationships, and being in sync with how others might be feeling.
This day offers students the opportunity to engage in a hands-on challenge that requires courage with with a team who has your back. It is a chance to find out what you’re capable of when you "find your brave". The core message you will take away: "Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s bravery in its presence."
Day 4 is about putting it all together and into action. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of your leadership — what matters most, the strengths you can continue to build on, and how you’re going to show up differently at school, in your community, and with the people you care about most.
“I came in thinking I knew myself pretty well. By day two I realized I could offer so much more. I went back to school and started leading in a completely different way.”
“The Courage Lab was one of the best things I’ve ever done. It was cool to see what we were actually capable of. That feeling didn’t go away when it was over.”
“I met people who want to change things as much as I do. We still talk and figure things out together. That’s not something you always get from a regular summer program.”
“The part about having hard conversations without messing everything up — I’ve used that a ton since. My friendships are better and my relationships on my teams and at school are better.”
